Who we are

Impress Cleaning Limited is the data controller for the information described on this page. That means we decide what is collected and what happens to it.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote

Your name, phone number, email address if you give one, the property address or postcode, and the details of the cleaning you need — property size, condition, dates and anything you tell us in the message box.

When you apply for work

Your name, phone number, email address, the sort of work you are looking for, your experience and availability, and anything you write in your message.

When you call, email or message us

Whatever you tell us, and your phone number or email address so we can reply. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation sits on your device and ours, and with WhatsApp itself.

When you use this website

If you accept cookies, Google records that you visited and whether you went on to contact us. See Cookies below. If you decline, no advertising cookie is set.

When we clean for you

A record of each visit — the date, who attended, the times, and what was done. We take photographs of the work, before and after. Those photographs are of the property, not of people, and we will not use them publicly without asking you first.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing emails to people who have only asked for a quote.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run the business, and only what they need:

  • Google Ireland Ltd — advertising and conversion measurement, if you accept cookies
  • Supabase — the database behind our booking and job management system, where enquiries and job records are stored
  • Vercel — hosting for that system
  • Resend — sends the emails we write to you, such as quotes and invoices
  • Our accountant — invoices and financial records, for tax
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to message us there

Some of these companies are based outside the UK. Where information leaves the UK it is protected by the safeguards those companies have in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

We will also share information where the law requires it — for example with HMRC, or in response to a court order.

This site sets no cookies at all until you choose. There is nothing to accept for the site to work — the forms, the price estimator and the phone links all function whether you accept or decline.

That is the whole list. We do not use analytics, heatmaps, session recording, social media pixels or advertising retargeting.

Your choice is stored on your device

When you accept or decline, we store that choice in your browser's local storage under imp_consent so we do not ask again for six months. That is stored on your device only and is never sent to us.

Changing your mind

Use the Cookies button at the bottom left of any page. You can also clear cookies in your own browser settings, or use Google's ad settings to control personalised advertising across all sites.

This site loads its typeface from Google Fonts. That is not a cookie, but it does mean Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
